Why hire an IPTPA instructor?

The International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) is the world leader in developing teaching standards in the sport of Pickleball.  When an instructor meets those standards, they are awarded certification.

An IPTPA certified instructor has passed a rigorous 3-part testing program and continues to

improve their teaching skills through yearly training requirements. A certified IPTPA instructor

is your guarantee that your instructor knows the specific strokes, strategies and shot selections

specific to pickleball.

All too often beginners who are first introduced to pickleball look to the champions for directions

on how to play the game. What they fail to recognize is that the 5.0 player has added more

advanced strokes and strategies after mastering “high percentage winning pickleball” elements.

Certified pickleball teaching professionals teach the basic elements and develop a strong

foundation of error free play before beginning to add more advanced strokes and strategies.

While some teacher certifications only allow for basic introduction of the sport to beginners, IPTPA Level II Certified Pickleball Teaching Professionals have the training and skills to teach beginner through intermediate players, incorporating different teaching styles based on age and ability from kids to seniors.
